Lecture Carl de Keyzer and Denis Darzacq

On September 19th photographers Carl de Keyzer and Denis Darzacq will speak about their work that will be presented at BREDAPHOTO.

Carl de Keyzer will talk about his project Trinity (exhibited in the Graphic Design Museum). An impressive work on power, war and politics: three series of historical scenes on which he worked for 16 years. Tableaux d'Histoire, Tableaux de guerre and Tableaux politiques together form the superb work Trinity. He will also explain his work ‘work in progress' Moments before the flood.

Denis Darzacq will explain his photo series Hyper (can be seen in the outdoor exhibition). With Hyper, Darzacq builds the, by World Press Photo awarded ‘La Chute', in which he photographs floating people in the city. The viewer holds their breath when watching the jump, which calls to an act of resistance against the consumer society.
