The museum is closed on Monday.
Public holidays
MOTI is closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Carnival Sunday and Monday, Easter Sunday, Whit Sunday and Queen's Day (30 April).
Open on all other public holidays (Boxing Day, Easter Monday, Ascension Day and Whit Monday).
It is possible to open the museum on Monday for hall rental and for groups of more than one hundred people; such groups should apply at least one month in advance.

MOTI is located just a 5 minute walk from Breda Central Station.
From the main entrance to the station, walk straight on into Willemstraat;
After approximately 200 yards, cross the road and enter the Valkenberg Park. Keep to the left; follow the path that leads past the playground and turns with a bend to the right;
After about 200 yards, you leave the park through the red gate; turn right.
After following the bend in the pavement for about 50 yards, you arrive at a set of traffic lights; the Boschstraat is now diagonally opposite you to the left.
When you walk into the Boschstraat, you will come to the entrance of the MOTI after about 20 yards.
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take city bus no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 or 12 in the direction of the centre. Alight at Vlaszak stop; this is the first stop after the station.
Journey time: around three minutes.

By car
From Amsterdam (Schiphol) | Utrecht (A27)
• Leave the A27 at exit 15: Breda;
• At the traffic lights at the end of the exit road, turn left;
• You then take the exit Bavel/Breda; at the traffic lights, turn right into the Claudius Prinsenlaan in the direction of the Centrum [Centre];
• You stay on this road, following the signs to the Centrum [Centre] until you pass the canal [singel];
• Once you cross the bridge, you can turn left and park in the Chassé Parking.
If you drive straight ahead, you will see the parking garage Beijerd/Vlaszak on the right after 100 yards.
From Tilburg (A58)
• Take the exit Utrecht/Breda which will take you onto the A27;
• Leave the motorway at exit 15: Breda;
• For further directions follow the route from Utrecht.
From Atwerp (A16)
• Leave the A16 motorway at exit 15: Breda/Rijsbergen;
• Continue along this road (in the direction of Breda) until you reach exit Bavel/Breda;
• Here you turn off in the direction of the Centrum [Centre] (Claudius Prinsenlaan);
• For further directions follow the route from Utrecht.
From Rotterdam (A16)
• Leave the A16 motorway at exit 15: Breda/Rijsbergen;
• Continue along this road (in the direction of Breda) until you reach exit Bavel/Breda;
• Here you turn off in the direction of the Centrum [Centre] (Claudius Prinsenlaan);
• For further directions follow the route from Utrecht.
From Roosendaal/Zeeland (A58)
• Take the exit Tilburg/Antwerp which will take you onto the A16;
• Leave the A16 motorway at exit 15: Breda/Rijsbergen;
• Continue along this road (in the direction of Breda) until you reach exit Bavel/Breda;
• Here you turn off in the direction of the Centrum [Centre] (Claudius Prinsenlaan);
• For further directions follow the route from Utrecht.
